Boundaries of Glass and Bloom

Where Light Lingers
I stare at the ball of flowers, their pinks and woody stems twisting in the glass vase, but it’s the glass that catches me first. It bends the world around it, drawing in threads of colour from the background; shadows of soft blues and greens reflect in the water like lost memories. The flowers seem to hover, they float above the table in proud innocence. Their petals breathe vibrancy in a way that feels alive rather than still. They hold the light just enough to make me wonder where the vase ends and the flowers begin.
